Monday mornings are always busy in the Johnson household. Sarah wakes up at six o'clock and immediately starts preparing breakfast for the family. She makes toast, eggs, and coffee for her husband Mark, and packs school lunches for their two children, Emma and Tom. While Sarah is in the kitchen, Mark takes a quick shower and gets dressed for work. He usually leaves the house at half past seven because his office is quite far from home. The children need to catch the school bus at a quarter to eight, so everyone has to be ready on time. This morning, however, things didn't go as planned. Emma couldn't find her math textbook, and Tom spilled juice on his shirt just before breakfast. Sarah had to help them quickly while also answering a work call on her phone. Despite the small problems, the family managed to leave the house by seven twenty-five. Sarah felt a bit tired, but she was happy that they didn't miss the bus. She told herself that tomorrow would be a calmer morning.
