Student: Hi Karen, I'm a first-year student starting in September, and I want to ask about accommodation options.

Housing Officer: Sure! We have three options. The shared dormitory is the most affordable at two hundred dollars a month. You'll share a room with one other student. Then there's the single room at three hundred and fifty dollars, which gives you your own space. And finally, the studio apartment at five hundred dollars — that includes a small kitchen.

Student: I think I'd prefer the single room. I need quiet for studying. Is the price all-inclusive?

Housing Officer: The rent includes water and internet. Electricity is metered separately — most students pay about thirty dollars a month for that. Meals are not included, but there's a cafeteria on the ground floor.

Student: That sounds reasonable. How do I apply?

Housing Officer: You need to fill out the online application on our website and pay a deposit of one month's rent. The deadline for the September intake is July 15th. After that, rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student: Great. One more thing — is there parking available?

Housing Officer: We have limited parking spaces. Students can apply for a parking permit, but priority is given to those living in the studio apartments. For single rooms, I'd recommend using the campus shuttle bus — it's free for all residents.
