## Causative form là gì?

Causative form (thể nhờ bảo) dùng khi **ai đó làm việc gì cho bạn** hoặc khi bạn **khiến/bảo/cho phép** ai đó làm việc gì. Trong VSTEP B2, causative hay xuất hiện ở phần viết lại câu và Use of Language.

## 1. HAVE something done (nhờ ai đó làm — không nói rõ ai)

**Công thức:** S + **have/has/had** + O (vật) + **V3** (Past Participle)

| Thì | Ví dụ | Nghĩa |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Hiện tại đơn | I **have** my hair **cut** every month. | Tôi nhờ cắt tóc hàng tháng. |
| Quá khứ đơn | She **had** her car **repaired** yesterday. | Cô ấy nhờ sửa xe hôm qua. |
| Hiện tại HT | We **have had** the house **painted**. | Chúng tôi đã nhờ sơn nhà. |
| Tương lai | I **will have** the document **translated**. | Tôi sẽ nhờ dịch tài liệu. |

**Lưu ý:** "Have something done" cũng dùng khi bị ai đó làm gì (trải nghiệm xấu):

- He **had** his wallet **stolen**. (Anh ấy bị mất ví.)
- She **had** her phone **broken**. (Cô ấy bị vỡ điện thoại.)

## 2. GET something done (tương tự have something done)

**Công thức:** S + **get/gets/got** + O (vật) + **V3**

- I need to **get** my watch **fixed**. (Tôi cần nhờ sửa đồng hồ.)
- She **got** her nails **done** yesterday. (Cô ấy nhờ làm móng hôm qua.)

## 3. HAVE / GET someone do/to do (nhờ ai đó làm — nói rõ ai)

| Cấu trúc | Công thức | Ví dụ |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **have** someone do | S + have + O (người) + **V (bare inf.)** | I **had** my brother **fix** my computer. |
| **get** someone to do | S + get + O (người) + **to V** | I **got** my brother **to fix** my computer. |

**Sự khác biệt:** have + bare infinitive vs get + to-infinitive.

## 4. MAKE someone do (bắt/khiến ai đó làm)

**Công thức:** S + **make/makes/made** + O (người) + **V** (bare infinitive)

- The teacher **made** the students **rewrite** the essay.
- His jokes always **make** me **laugh**.

**Bị động:** S + **be made + to V**

- The students **were made to rewrite** the essay.

## 5. LET someone do (cho phép ai đó làm)

**Công thức:** S + **let** + O (người) + **V** (bare infinitive)

- Her parents **let** her **go** to the party.
- Don't **let** the children **play** near the road.

**Lưu ý:** Let KHÔNG có dạng bị động. Thay bằng **be allowed to**:

- She **was allowed to go** to the party.
