## Mixed Conditionals chuyên sâu — 8 dạng

### Dạng 1: Quá khứ → Hiện tại (Type 3 If + Type 2 Main)

**If I had studied** medicine, I **would be** a doctor now.
 (Nếu tôi đã học y, bây giờ tôi đã là bác sĩ.)

### Dạng 2: Hiện tại → Quá khứ (Type 2 If + Type 3 Main)

**If she were** more careful, she **wouldn't have made** that mistake.
 (Nếu cô ấy cẩn thận hơn (tính cách), cô ấy đã không mắc lỗi đó.)

### Dạng 3: Were it not for + N (= If it were not for)

**Were it not for** your help, I would fail. (Nếu không có sự giúp đỡ của bạn...)

### Dạng 4: Had it not been for + N (= If it had not been for)

**Had it not been for** the scholarship, he couldn't have studied abroad.

### Dạng 5: But for + N (= If it were not for / If it had not been for)

**But for** the rain, we would have gone out.
 **But for** his support, I wouldn't be where I am today.

### Dạng 6: Provided (that) / Providing (that)

You can go out **provided that** you finish your homework first.
 **Providing that** the weather is good, we'll have the picnic.

### Dạng 7: Unless = If ... not

**Unless you study** hard, you will fail. = If you don't study hard...
 She won't come **unless she is** invited. = If she is not invited...

### Dạng 8: Suppose / Supposing (that) = What if

**Suppose you won** the lottery, what would you do?
 **Supposing that it rained** tomorrow, would you still go?
