Decision of the Minister of finance 

On the temporarily suspend the implementation of the Decision No 146/2002/QD-BTC dated  4 December 2002 of the Minister of Finance on amendment of names and  import tax rates for pre-assembled automobiles and auto parts in the preferential tariff form.

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No.86/2002/ND-CP of November 5, 2002 on the tasks, powers and organizational structure of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No.178/CP of October 28, 1994 on the tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Finance Ministry;

Pursuant to Article 1 of the Government’s Decree No.94/1998/ND-CP of November 17, 1998 detailing the implementation of the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of Law No.04/1998/QH10 of May 20, 1998 on Export Tax and Import Tax;

After consulting the  Prime Minister of the Government:

DECIDES:

Article 1. Temporarily suspend the implementation of the Decision No 146/2002/QD-BTC dated 4 December 2002 of the Minister of Finance on the amendment of names, codes and import tax for pre-assembled automobiles and auto parts in the Preferential tariff Form until the ministry issues a new decision in this regard.

The application of names, codes and import tax rates for automobiles and auto parts in the Preferential tariff Form from the January 1^st 2003 shall be implemented according to the existing regulation.

Article 2. This Decision shall be effective since the date of signature./.
