Task 1 — Thư yêu cầu thông tin (Request Letter)
Thư yêu cầu thông tin là dạng bạn viết thư hỏi về khóa học, dịch vụ, sản phẩm hoặc cơ hội nào đó. Giọng văn lịch sự và rõ ràng, nêu cụ thể thông tin cần biết.
1. Cấu trúc thư yêu cầu

2. Useful Phrases — Thư yêu cầu
Mở thư:
- I am writing to inquire about… / to request information about…
- I recently saw your advertisement for… and I would like to know more about…
Đặt câu hỏi:
- Could you please provide me with information regarding…?
- I would be grateful if you could tell me…
- I would also like to know whether/if…
- Could you also clarify…?
Kết thư:
- Thank you in advance for your assistance.
- I would appreciate it if you could reply at your earliest convenience.
- I look forward to receiving the requested information.
3. Đề mẫu
You are interested in enrolling in an English course at a language center. Write a letter to the center to ask for information. In your letter:
- explain why you want to take the course
- ask about the schedule, fees, and class size
- inquire about any entrance test or requirements
Write at least 120 words.
4. Bài viết mẫu (~150 từ)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inquire about the English courses offered at your language center. I am a government employee and I need to improve my English proficiency to meet the requirements for the upcoming VSTEP examination.
Firstly, could you please provide me with information regarding the course schedule? I am particularly interested in evening or weekend classes, as I work during the day. I would also like to know the total fees for the course and whether payment can be made in installments.
In addition, I would be grateful if you could tell me the average class size. I prefer smaller groups for more personalized attention. Finally, could you clarify whether there is an entrance test or any specific requirements for enrollment?
