Tổng quan phần thi Nói VSTEP

Phần thi Speaking VSTEP kéo dài 12 phút, gồm 3 parts. Thí sinh thi trực tiếp với giám khảo (face-to-face). Đây là kỹ năng nhiều thí sinh lo lắng nhất vì phải phản xạ nhanh và nói trôi chảy trong thời gian giới hạn.

• Part 1 (3 phút): Trả lời trực tiếp, mở rộng thêm 1-2 câu. Không nói quá ngắn (chỉ Yes/No) hoặc quá dài (lạc đề).
• Part 2 (4 phút): Đọc nhanh tình huống (30 giây), thảo luận từng option, đưa ra lựa chọn cuối cùng có lý do.
• Part 3 (5 phút): Trình bày quan điểm rõ ràng, dùng ví dụ cụ thể, sẵn sàng trả lời follow-up questions.

6. Mẹo nhanh trước khi thi

1. Warm up bằng tiếng Anh 15-30 phút trước giờ thi
2. Mang theo nước uống, giữ cổ họng ẩm
3. Giao tiếp bằng mắt với giám khảo, mỉm cười tự nhiên
4. Nếu không nghe rõ câu hỏi, lịch sự hỏi lại: "Could you repeat that, please?"
5. Không cần nói giọng bản ngữ, chỉ cần rõ ràng và dễ hiểu

Part 1 — Cấu trúc câu trả lời hiệu quả

Part 1 kéo dài 3 phút, giám khảo hỏi 3-4 câu hỏi về chủ đề quen thuộc. Mỗi câu trả lời nên dài 3-5 câu (khoảng 30-50 từ). Bí quyết là sử dụng công thức A.R.E.
